Material Color Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize color formulations for plastic resins used in injection molding processes.
• Conduct color matching and correction to meet customer specifications and industry standards.
• Evaluate raw materials and pigments to ensure consistency and quality in color performance.
• Work closely with suppliers to source and qualify colorants and additives.
• Utilize color measurement equipment (e.g., spectrophotometers, colorimeters) to analyze and maintain color consistency.
• Establish and maintain color standards, databases, and documentation for reference and quality control.
• Troubleshoot color-related issues in production and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to develop new color formulations for innovative products.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements for pigments and colorants.
• Train production and quality teams on color matching techniques and best practices.

Education and Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree (Fresh grads welcome to apply)
• Hands-on experience with color formulation, pigment selection, and plastic resin behavior.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin is a MUST.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
