Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented FMCG Export Sales Executive to drive the growth of our product portfolio in international markets. This position will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing relationships with key clients, and achieving sales targets within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of export sales processes, a passion for FMCG products, and experience in building long-term customer relationships across diverse international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales & Business Development:
    1. Identify and target new export opportunities in international markets.
    2. Daily and regular follow up with customers.
    3. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for FMCG products.
    4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers in assigned export markets.
    5. Collaborate with the purchasing team to develop and sell market-specific FMCG products.
  2. Market Research & Analysis:
    1. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within target export regions.
    2. Provide insights and feedback on customer preferences to inform product portfolio marketing strategies.
    3. Follow up with logistics and legal teams for the proper delivery of goods and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with local laws and trade regulations.
  3. Client Management & Relationship Building:
    1. Manage a portfolio of key accounts in international markets, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
    2. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to maximize profitability.
    3. Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues related to orders.
  4. Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to senior management.
  5. Track sales metrics and KPIs to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
  6. Utilize CRM tools to manage customer data and sales pipelines.
  7. Work closely with internal departments (e.g., Purchasing, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth execution of export sales operations.
  8. Collaborate with the product development team to suggest new product offerings based on market demand.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  2. Proven experience (3+ years) in FMCG export sales, preferably in food, beverages, or consumer goods.
  3. Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, documentation, and logistics.
  4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and experience with CRM software.
  7. Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  8. Fluency in English & Chinese (additional languages are a plus).
