Yong Ma is a leading home electronics brand, dedicated to innovation and excellence. As we continue to expand our market reach, we are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial in driving data-driven decision-making to optimize our marketing strategies.

Job Description

As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing marketing and business data to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making. Your key responsibilities include:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Collecting, processing, and analyzing marketing data to generate actionable insights.
  • Creating dashboards and visual reports using data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for business growth and marketing effectiveness.
  • Analyzing customer behavior, sales trends, and campaign performance to identify opportunities for improvement.

Business & Marketing Strategy Support:

  • Evaluating digital marketing campaign performance across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, Tokopedia TopAds, and Shopee Ads.
  • Providing insights on customer segmentation, targeting, and personalization strategies.
  • Identifying trends in consumer behavior to optimize sales and marketing efforts.

E-Commerce & Marketplace Optimization:

  • Analyzing sales performance on e-commerce platforms (Tokopedia, Shopee, Lazada, etc.) to enhance product positioning and promotional strategies.
  • Monitoring conversion rates and customer engagement to improve marketplace performance.
  • Assisting in the optimization of marketplace advertising strategies to maximize ROI.

Digital Marketing & Marketplace Ads:

  • Creating and managing paid campaigns on platforms like Google Ads (SEM, GDN, YouTube), Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads and other PPC channels.
  • Overseeing and optimizing advertising campaigns on e-commerce platforms like Tokopedia (TopAds) and Shopee Ads to boost visibility and sales.
  • Working closely with the Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Presenting analytical findings and insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  • Continuously improving data collection methods and reporting systems for better accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical thinker with a passion for data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate should have:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, marketing analytics, digital marketing or a related field, preferably in the electronics, beauty, or skincare industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheet).
    • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
    • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and marketplace analytics tools (Shopee & Tokopedia Ads Manager).
    • Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, TikTok Ads Manager and SEO tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs.
  • Strong Analytical Thinking:
    • Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for details and trends.
  • Marketing & Business Knowledge:
    • Understanding of digital marketing KPIs, e-commerce sales strategies, and customer behavior analytics.
    • Knowledge of A/B testing and conversion rate optimization strategies.
  • Ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders and work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams.
  • Strong presentation skills to deliver data-driven recommendations.
  • A growth mindset with a willingness to continuously learn new technologies and methodologies in data analysis.
