The Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and communication initiatives that elevate brand awareness, drive revenue, and position Grand Seminyak Bali Resort as a premier lifestyle destination. This role oversees media relations, digital marketing, content creation, advertising, public relations, and brand partnerships to ensure a consistent and compelling brand presence across all channels.

Job Description

Marketing & Communication

1. Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and guest engagement.
2. Maintain strong relationships with local and international media, travel, lifestyle, and food editors.
3. Oversee content creation and brand messaging across all communication platforms, including website, social media, email marketing, and PR materials.
4. Plan and execute media placements, news releases, and influencer collaborations to generate maximum exposure.
5. Manage all digital marketing activities, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and website updates.
6. Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to develop promotional campaigns that drive direct bookings and F&B revenue.
7. Oversee the production of all marketing collaterals, including brochures, in-room materials, menus, and event signage.
8. Monitor online reputation and guest feedback, responding appropriately to maintain brand credibility.
9. Act as the hotel's spokesperson, when necessary, especially in crisis situations.
10. Establish public relations programs that align with sales and F&B strategies.
11. Organize and promote special events, partnerships, and community initiatives to enhance brand engagement.

Team Management

1. Lead and develop the Marketing & Communications team, ensuring high levels of creativity and performance.
2. Identify and mentor team members with growth potential.
3. Conduct performance reviews and provide continuous feedback.
4. Ensure the team upholds professional presentation, attitude, and execution of tasks.
5. Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to align marketing strategies with operational goals.

Other Responsibilities

1. Attend management meetings, training sessions, and corporate briefings.
2. Uphold brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all marketing materials.
3. Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and professionalism.
4. Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to identify new marketing opportunities.
5. Ensure compliance with all fire & life safety/emergency procedures.
6. Perform any other tasks assigned by the General Manager or Director of Sales & Marketing.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
2. Minimum 4 years of experience in Marketing Communications/Public Relations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
3. Hospitality industry experience is highly preferred.
4. Strong network with media, influencers, and brand partners.
5. Proven track record in executing successful digital marketing campaigns.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
