Role Description

We are looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support the marketing team at Metropole Purnama Citra, a leading B2B furniture manufacturer. In this role, you will assist with executing marketing strategies, managing digital campaigns, coordinating events, and producing marketing materials. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn about the B2B marketing landscape in the furniture industry and wants to grow their career in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support: Assist the marketing team with daily administrative tasks, including organizing schedules, preparing reports, and managing marketing calendars.
  2. Content Creation: Help create marketing materials such as product brochures and email newsletters. Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines.
  3. Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Compile data and insights to help inform marketing strategies.
  4. Event Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of trade shows, exhibitions, and other industry events. Help organize logistics, prepare marketing materials, and track leads during the event.
  5. Lead Generation: Assist in identifying potential leads and supporting the sales team with follow-up tasks, ensuring that leads are properly nurtured.
  6. Database Management: Help manage and maintain the CRM system, ensuring data is accurate and up to date for email campaigns, lead generation, and customer outreach.
  7. Reporting & Analytics: Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, including website traffic and email open rates. Assist in preparing performance reports.
  8. Brand Consistency: Ensure all marketing materials and communications are consistent with the company’s brand image, tone, and messaging.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in marketing or administrative support, preferably in a B2B environment or within the furniture or manufacturing industries. Able to communicate in fluent English; Chinese is a plus. Experience with digital marketing tools (e.g., social media platforms, email marketing tools, website management) is a plus.
  3. Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to create clear and engaging content. Basic understanding of B2B marketing concepts and strategies. Familiarity with social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, and knowledge of social media marketing best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Basic knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is a plus. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards in all tasks.
