70% Responsible to support APAC Market Access initiatives and strategy, execution and cross countries strategic alignment
Detailed responsibilities will include:
For Affiliate:
Leading country affiliate to align cross-functionally to manage, support, and drive market access strategy in line with Regional and Global Market Access & Policy strategic imperatives and objectives that brings value to the countries.
Policy Horizon Scanning including monitor and engage stakeholders from government and payer decision makers, related to coverage, pricing, reimbursement, tender, formulary listing, demand control of EPD portfolio, disseminate business implications, call for actions, increase our pro-activeness.
Develop and execute country Market Access plan, including: Forward-looking opportunity and risk assessment; obtain/ maintain/ optimize portfolio pricing, reimbursement, listing and payer guidelines.
Improve Market Access regulations for off-patent products and Biosimilars: including represent EPD at local industry association, proactively drive off-patent policies and build and lead local external engagement.
For Regional includes:
Develop integrated pricing and access strategies with global and cluster alignment and get cross-functional support for their implementation; define payer evidence requirements to support lifecycle management value propositions.
Support implementation of Market Access strategies and initiatives at a local and regional level by providing Market Access perspective and insights towards payer engagement programs, or shaping policies or pricing optimization or local HE studies.
Supports assessments of potential portfolio expansion molecules from a Market Access perspective; and supports all activities which are protecting and optimizing the base (In-Market Brands) and introducing of new products to the market.
Anticipate trends and changes across the Cluster, and develop appropriate action plans.
Work effectively with internal stakeholders at the Global, Regional, and Country level.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
5-7 years in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, ideally in Market Access, Policy or Governmental Affairs.
2-3 years’ experience in a country.
Understanding of market access skills in pricing management, basic HEOR capability and policy shaping initiatives including best in class stakeholders engagement.
Launch experience.
Project management experience and expertise.
Advanced analytical skills.
Must be proficient in verbal and written communication.
Multiple languages and cross cultural, and cross-divisional experience is beneficial.
Must be driven, a team leader and possess strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
