Manufacturing Process & Digitalization Engineer

You’ll create impact by:

  • Lead and execute digital transformation initiatives in warehouse and manufacturing operations.
  • Develop applications, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and dashboards using Power BI.

Lean Manufacturing

  • Implement and lead lean principles such as Line Balancing, Waste Elimination and other manufacturing optimizations.
  • Coordinate industrial process engineering activities, including Lean Balancing.

IoT and Digitalization

  • Lead IoT implementation in manufacturing machines, particularly in prefabrication processes.
  • Manage and maintain digitalization devices, ensuring functionality and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Warehouse and Intralogistics Process Engineering

  • Coordinate intralogistics engineering processes such as Kanban systems, inventory optimization, and SAP system enhancements.
  • Serve as a bridge between Siemens Indonesia and Headquarters to drive digitalization, intralogistics advancements, best practices, and personnel development.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyze improvement data to identify actionable insights.
  • Prepare presentations and supporting documentation for executive-level stakeholders.

Calibration and Tool Support

  • Support the calibration process for tools and equipment.
  • Manage improvement projects, including facility upgrades, layout redesigns, machine procurement, and other capital projects.
  • Perform technical and commercial analysis, including calculating savings, benefits, and Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Drive digitalization and process improvement within manufacturing and warehouse operations.
  • Ensure maintenance and upgrades of digital tools to meet operational needs.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial engineering roles. Strong track record in leading digital transformation projects, particularly in manufacturing and warehouse environments.
  • Hands-on experience with implementing lean principles, such as SMED, Kanban, and inventory optimization.
  • Proven experience in project management, including facility improvements, machine procurement, and ROI analysis.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in developing dashboards and applications using Power BI and RPA tools.
  • Knowledge of IoT technologies and their application in manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with SAP systems and enhancing intralogistics workflows.
  • Familiarity with calibration processes and tools is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present findings to executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills to act as a liaison between local teams and global headquarters.
  • Effective leadership and collaboration abilities to drive change and engage cross-functional teams.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar.
  • IoT or digitalization certifications.

  • High level of adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
