This position reports to

Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and enhance the software components in the assigned project for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Pulp & Paper solution. Each day, you will do the implementation of MES solution in Pulp & Paper. The work model for the role is: #hybrid. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries in Indonesia, located in Jakarta or Surabaya. You will be mainly accountable for:

1. Performing a variety of software engineering tasks in the assigned area of software development.
2. Creating highly structured and maintainable code and deliverables with the right amount of documentation.
3. Embracing software architecture and design patterns in development to achieve better software metrics across software modularity such as coupling and cohesiveness.
4. Managing customer project meetings and responding to customer issues.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT with relevant experience of 3-5 years in software development.
• This position is applicable for local Indonesian candidates only.
• The candidate must have hands-on experience in C#, .NET, Oracle PL/SQL, MS T-SQL, SAP BO, reporting tools, etc.
• Knowledge of any of the following will be beneficial - C/C++; OPC (DA, HDA, UA); PLC/DCS and other OT interfaces.
• Preferred candidates should have hands-on experience with Pulp & Paper plants and knowledge of MES Pulp & Paper processes.
• Excellent active listening, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
