MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering
• Able to communicate in English both oral and written
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes in electronics manufacturing such as SMT/COB/Auto Insert Box build Assy & Testing, Packaging
• Familiar with electronic components and electronic equipment used in PCBA manufacturing
• At least 2 or 3 years in an electronics manufacturing environment
• Based in Batam/Jakarta/Bandung

Special Skills / Knowledge:

• Able to use Mechanical CAD software and PCB CAD software
• Able to communicate information clearly
• Practice time management by prioritizing, planning, and scheduling work
• Able to identify and solve problems, thinking clearly and analytically
• Work independently and able to make quick minor decisions related to his/her work

Job Description:

• Support Business Development and Business unit in RFQ processing by providing manufacturing information and standards such as labor hours content and related NRE investments and costs (i.e., capital investments for equipment and automation)
• Support the qualifications and delivery of new processes or new technology in the factory.
• Support the NPI team for new products by developing new processes, writing specifications, purchasing the technology, validating the process, and documenting the process.
• Provide support in the development of the manufacturing plan for new products and existing products with increased volume.
• Improve existing processes with assistance in diagnosis, cost reduction, and waste reduction.
• Provide support/technical leadership with factory on Process balancing, process qualification, fixture, and equipment support.
• Perform day-to-day function of supporting the RFQ activities.
