Mandarin Translator (Assistant to CEO)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Mandarin Translator (Assistant to CEO) to join the team at PT. TEMAS TBK, a leading company in Maritime Transportation. This full-time role is based in North Jakarta, Jakarta and will play a crucial part in supporting our CEO and the wider business operations.

What you'll be doing

• Providing high-quality Mandarin to Bahasa and Bahasa to Mandarin translation services for a wide range of business documents, communications and presentations.
• Serving as a trusted assistant to the CEO, managing their schedule, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, both in Indonesia and internationally, to facilitate seamless communication.
• Researching and summarizing key information to support the CEO and senior leadership team.
• Participating in strategic discussions and providing insights based on your cultural and linguistic expertise.
• Maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.

What we're looking for

• Fluency in Mandarin with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
• Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Proactive, discreet and adaptable, with a keen eye for detail.
