Mandarin Translator

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide accurate and efficient translation and interpretation services (Mandarin to Indonesian and vice versa) for meetings, documents, and communications at the mining site.
2. Assist in translating technical and non-technical documents, including safety protocols, operational manuals, and project reports.
3. Serve as the primary communication bridge between Mandarin-speaking stakeholders (including Chinese expatriates and contractors) and local Indonesian staff.
4. Support the management team with administrative tasks related to translation and communication.
5. Assist in coordinating visits and site tours for Mandarin-speaking guests and stakeholders.
6. Support any other translation and communication tasks as required by the site management.

Requirements:

1. Age maximum 40 years old.
2. Proven experience as a Mandarin Translator or Interpreter, preferably in an industrial or mining setting.
3. Proficient in Mandarin and Indonesian (both written and spoken).
4. Strong understanding of technical and business terminology in both languages.
5. Willingness to work at a remote mining site in South Kalimantan with a rooster system.
