About the role

We are seeking a talented Mandarin translator to join our team at Lianqing bangunan Indonesia in Central Jakarta, Jakarta. This full-time position is a crucial role, responsible for providing accurate and efficient translation services between Mandarin and English to support our business operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Translating a variety of business documents, including contracts, reports, and correspondence, between Mandarin and English
2. Interpreting Mandarin-speaking client and stakeholder conversations to facilitate effective communication
3. Proofreading and editing translated materials to ensure accuracy and clarity
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand context and deliver high-quality translations
5. Maintaining translation databases and terminology glossaries to ensure consistency
6. Providing language and cultural guidance to support business activities

What we're looking for

1. Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
2. Demonstrated experience as a professional translator, preferably in a business or commercial setting
3. Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills to ensure translation accuracy
4. Excellent time management and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
5. Familiarity with translation tools and software
6. Cultural sensitivity and the ability to adapt communication styles as needed
