About the role

We are seeking a skilled Mandarin Translator to join our dynamic team at Stacy Beauty. As a Mandarin Translator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating seamless communication between our company and our Mandarin-speaking clients and partners. This is a full-time position based in Tangerang Regency, Banten.

What you'll be doing

1. Translate a wide range of documents, including contracts, marketing materials, and client correspondence, from English to Mandarin and vice versa.
2. Provide accurate and culturally appropriate interpretations during meetings, negotiations, and other business interactions.
3. Assist in the localization of our products and services for the Mandarin-speaking market.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and high-quality translations.
5. Stay up-to-date with industry terminology and cultural nuances to enhance the effectiveness of your translations.
6. Contribute to the development and maintenance of translation-related resources and tools.

What we're looking for

1. Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to translate between the two languages with a high degree of accuracy.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
3. Strong understanding of cultural differences and the ability to adapt translations accordingly.
4. Experience in a similar translation role, preferably within the beauty or retail industry.
5. Familiarity with translation software and tools, as well as a keen eye for detail.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
