MANAGER TECHNICAL SUPPORT FACILITIES & SERVICES
(National - Site Based)


Some of your duties will include:

  1. Responsible for overseeing the IFMS (Infrastructure, Facilities, Maintenance and Services) technical support team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality maintenance support services. This role involves managing maintenance support operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with other departments to improve processes.
  2. Provide technical knowledge to maintenance teams in compliance with government and OEM standards.
  3. Provide new methods or processes to improve current business maintenance practices.
  4. Undertake maintenance planning, scheduling, and inventory material tracking.
  5. Manage and monitor storage of purchased items.
  6. Allocate planning of infrastructure maintenance and all necessary resources required to accomplish for infrastructure maintenance activities.
  7. Lead, mentor, and develop the technical support team to deliver exceptional service.
  8. Oversee and manage the resolution of technical support requests.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
  10. Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  11. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and provide advanced troubleshooting support.
  12. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the team is equipped with up-to-date knowledge.
  13. Develop and document technical standards, processes, and procedures.
  14. Develop and maintain support schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
  15. Plan and coordinate support activities in alignment with company goals. Implement and monitor adherence to support policies and procedures.
  16. Utilize SAP for tracking and managing support activities and resources.
  17. Monitor and control costs associated with the technical support function. Prepare and present cost reports and forecasts to senior management; Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices; Monitor expenditures against the budget and implement cost-saving measures where possible; Prepare cost reports and forecasts related to procurement activities; Implement asset management processes to monitor the lifecycle and utilization of technical assets; Ensure that purchase orders are accurate and reflect agreed-upon terms and conditions; Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery of goods and services; Prepare cost estimation (owner estimate) of all planned projects in detail items and scope of works; Control cost estimation against overall budget planned in periodical basis as in the BP (monthly, quarterly, semesterly, yearly); Monitoring actual spending budget against planning of each and all projects against allocation in detail specs, variances, deviations in weekly to monthly basis.
  18. Implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  19. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on team performance.

What do you need?

  1. A bachelor's degree in engineering or any related discipline(s) with 18 years' experience in Project Management and Maintenance Infrastructure experience are necessary.
  2. Must have had minimum of 5 years' experience in Managerial roles related to project infrastructure, planning, scheduling, project control, and cost control as Manager Planning & Cost Control/ Manager Technical Support Services.
  3. Possess strong knowledge of OEM Manufacturer's maintenance standards, planning, leading a team, SAP, cost control, and scheduling.
  4. Have substantial experience in the Domestic, light industrial construction industry and in particular facility maintenance; Must have Project Infrastructure knowledge on building (Civil, structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping/ Plumbing).
  5. Have middle level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaiT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position;
  6. Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards; Demonstrate strong conceptual skills, and capable of developing lateral and practical solutions; High level of integrity and commitment; Good analytical, conflict resolution, sound decision making skills;
  7. Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.
