Manager Product Development

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of new products and enhancement of existing products, ensuring alignment with market trends and consumer insights.
• Oversee packaging development, material quality improvements, and product renovations to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Monitor the implementation of new product requisitions and ensure the readiness of materials and production processes.
• Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for product development.
• Develop product positioning strategies and collaborate with marketing teams to ensure competitive advantage in the market.
• Partner with mills, marketing, design, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of product development projects.
• Communicate with trade marketing and sales teams for effective product positioning and market entry strategies.
• Prepare and submit reports on product development progress, innovation projects, and market feedback to the direct superior.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in product development, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the FMCG industry.
• Good communication skills.
• Good knowledge in Market Trends & Consumer Insights, Product Lifecycle Management, Regulatory Requirements in FMCG.
• Good knowledge in Project Management, Data Analysis Tools, Packaging Technology & Materials.
