Manager Accounting, Tax, Reporting

Lead Finance Accounting team in Batam, oversee day-to-day finance operations, cash flow, taxation, corporate licenses, and financial audits, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external authorities. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely management and financial reports.

In your new role you will:

• Lead a high-performing local Finance Accounting team while collaborating cross-functionally to foster business success
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate management and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and government regulations
• Supervise taxation processes and proactively drive tax incentives
• Keep close contacts with authorities, such as tax office, central banks, and other government authorities
• Review and approve financial reports, claims, and payments.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or other relevant fields
• Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in Accounting and Finance, with at least 2–3 years in a management (leadership) role
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of Finance Accounting principles, including IFRS and local GAAP, and cash flow management and Taxation
• Very good problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proficient in Financial Accounting and other relevant systems, and software (SAP, Concur, Tableau)
• General knowledge in corporate compliance and legal documentation
• Experience in liaising with external authorities, such as tax offices, central banks, and local governments
• Good proficiency in English
• Willing to be based in Batam.
