Are you passionate about precision machining and leadership? PT. SPM Surface Products is seeking a dedicated Machine Shop Manager to lead a talented team of machining workers. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that machining processes, including CNC turning, milling, and multitask operations, run smoothly and comply with company policies, procedures, norms, and directions.

Work Location: PT. SPM Surface Products Batam, Kepulauan Riau

Travel Requirement: None

You will work both in an office and manufacturing shop-floor environment.

Domestic relocation is not available for this position.

What You Will Do:

1. Collaborates with engineers, partners and suppliers to meet business goals in accordance with the sustainable use of facilities and budget demands.
2. Constructs an efficient facility maintenance team and guides training sessions to ensure quality performance.
3. Evaluates the operation's effectiveness with current utilities and equipment; provides appropriate solutions to challenges and risks.
4. Oversees inspections, repairs and updates of facilities and relevant operational activities; maintains order at the facility.

What Skills You Have:

1. Budgeting: Knowledge of organization's budget process; ability to apply policies and practices for planning and administering a budget.
2. Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
3. Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies: Knowledge of organizational standards, procedures and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.
4. Plant Facilities Management: Knowledge of processes, methodologies and techniques used to manage plant facilities; ability to handle the full spectrum of activities for managing and maintaining physical facilities and infrastructure.
5. Supplier Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.

What Will Set You Apart:

1. A minimum diploma in engineering with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role in machining, including CNC turning operations, milling operations, and multitask operations.
2. Proficiency in speaking and writing in English, as well as operating Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

1. This job requires extensive active movement throughout the plant including climbing stairs and steps, lifting devices, and pushing and pulling equipment.
