Role And Responsibilities

The school is inviting enthusiastic and skilled Teachers to become a part of the pioneering team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to develop and provide outstanding educational experiences for pupils in the primary age phase, implementing a curriculum that balances the high standards of UK education with the local context of Jakarta.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver an inspiring curriculum which achieves the standards of the English National Curriculum within the context of Jakarta.
• Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating educational environment for learners.
• Regularly assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Engage with parents and guardians, providing insights into their child’s development and learning.
• Collaborate with other educators to ensure a cohesive educational approach.
• Participate in ongoing professional development related to the English National curriculum and international education.
• Contribute creatively to school-wide events and extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, specialising in Primary Education.
• At least 5 years of experience in an educational setting.
• Certified in teaching, with a focus on the UK National Curriculum.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
• Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students in Jakarta.
• A collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for innovative educational practices.
• As a start-up school, teachers should be resilient, adaptable, and willing to problem solve.
