Logistic Sales Assistant Manager

We are seeking a talented Logistic Sales Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at PT SCG Barito Logistics. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers and driving growth in our transportation and logistics services. Based in our West Jakarta office, you will play a key part in the success of our Transportation and Logistic business.

What you'll be doing

1. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
2. Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients
3. Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business
4. Contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies
5. Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify industry trends and competitive insights
6. Provide administrative support to the management as needed, such as summarising or calculating returns by project and presenting information
7. Increase sales and maximize utilization of the Company's fleet
8. Find problems among our team and customers, develop solutions, and integrate members into the chain to solve problems
9. Follow up on related operations and finance until payment is received

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a sales or business development role in the logistics industry
2. Strong understanding of the Transportation and Logistics industry
3. Have experience in domestic logistics service; especially cold chain / automotive / dangerous goods logistics
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
5. Proficient in using sales and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
6. Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret market data
7. Proactive and results-oriented, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
8. Time management and priority work management
9. Ability to solve problems immediately and respond quickly
10. Motivation for self-improvement, positive attitude, and adaptability
11. Fluency in English and Indonesian
