Responsibilities:
- Process, renew, and maintain licenses, permits, and certifications for the company's operations.
- Ensure timely submission of all required documents to the appropriate authorities.
- Monitor regulatory updates and ensure the company remains compliant with relevant environmental, safety, and operational laws.
- Collaborate with the legal and compliance teams to address any licensing issues.
- Act as a liaison between the company and government agencies, regulatory bodies, and third-party organizations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits of licenses and permits.
- Maintain organized records of all licenses and permits, both physical and digital.
- Track expiration dates and ensure timely renewals to avoid any operational disruptions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in handling permits and licenses, preferably in the power generation or energy sector.
- Familiarity with the licensing procedures and regulatory requirements related to power generation.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations (e.g., environmental, safety).
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
