License and Permit Assistant

Responsibilities:

1. Process, renew, and maintain licenses, permits, and certifications for the company's operations.
2. Ensure timely submission of all required documents to the appropriate authorities.
3. Monitor regulatory updates and ensure the company remains compliant with relevant environmental, safety, and operational laws.
4. Collaborate with the legal and compliance teams to address any licensing issues.
5. Act as a liaison between the company and government agencies, regulatory bodies, and third-party organizations.
6. Coordinate internal and external audits of licenses and permits.
7. Maintain organized records of all licenses and permits, both physical and digital.
8. Track expiration dates and ensure timely renewals to avoid any operational disruptions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in handling permits and licenses, preferably in the power generation or energy sector.
3. Familiarity with the licensing procedures and regulatory requirements related to power generation.
4. Strong organizational and documentation skills.
5. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
6. Ability to work with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
7. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
8. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations (e.g., environmental, safety).
9. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
