About Our Client

My client is a growing F&B startup in Southeast Asia.

Job Description

1. Legal Compliance:
   1. Ensure the company operates in compliance with local Indonesian laws and international legal standards.
   2. Review and amend contracts, policies, procedures, and other legal documents.
2. Contract and Agreement Management:
   1. Draft, review, and negotiate various business contracts and legal agreements.
   2. Ensure contract terms comply with legal requirements and protect the company's interests.
3. Risk Management:
   1. Identify potential legal risks the company may face and develop mitigation strategies.
   2. Provide legal advice to support business decisions and ensure operational legality.
4. Dispute and Litigation Management:
   1. Coordinate matters related to litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution for the company.
   2. Maintain communication with external legal advisors, law firms, and relevant agencies.
5. Cross-Department Collaboration:
   1. Provide legal support to other departments (e.g., Finance, Operations, Human Resources).
   2. Conduct legal training to enhance employees' legal awareness.
6. Corporate Governance:
   1. Support legal matters related to board and shareholder meetings.
   2. Ensure the legality and compliance of corporate governance documents.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's Degree in Law with at least 10 years of experience in the Food & Beverage business or Consumer Goods.
• Experience in International Trade Law (i.e., international supplier) and Employment Law (work permit for expats) are highly valued.
• Solid communication skills in English; Mandarin skills are considered an advantage.
• Someone who understands business needs and is flexible in exploring legal solutions.
• Experience in leading a team with good leadership skills.
