Legal Manager (Construction)

On behalf of our client, an Indonesias national construction companies, we are currently seeking a Legal Manager to be based in Surabaya.

Responsibilities:

• Review the legality of cooperation agreements with third parties.
• Oversee and take necessary actions against intellectual property rights (IPR) violations related to PT. Utomodeck.
• Assist other divisions, such as Project, Marketing, and Finance, by providing legal guidance and support, including drafting correspondence when needed.
• Monitor and support the processing of company permits and licenses.
• Supervise and address suspected violations of legal procedures within the company, such as document forgery for personal or external legal entity interests and the acceptance of non-SNI-compliant materials.
• Oversee and monitor the tasks performed by Legal Division staff at PT. Utomodeck Metal Works.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelors degree in Law (S1 Hukum) or relevant field/experience (not limited to Law degree).
• Completion of PKPA (Special Education for Advocate Profession) is preferred.
• Experience in criminal law, civil law, and other legal fieldsthe more experience, the better.
• Minimum passive English proficiency.
• Strong administrative and documentation skills.
• Excellent problem analysis skills and the ability to provide solutions based on applicable regulations or win-win solutions.
• Good communication skills, assertive, and disciplined.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Proactive and a fast learner.
