Legal Manager

We are looking for an experienced Legal Manager to lead our legal function, ensuring compliance with capital market regulations, mitigating legal risks, and providing strategic legal counsel to management. As a Legal Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Identify legal risks, develop mitigation plans, and effectively communicate them to management.
2. Ensure compliance with capital market regulations, securities laws, and corporate governance standards.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
4. Provide legal counsel on investment products, corporate actions, and evolving regulations.
5. Liaise with regulatory bodies such as OJK, IDX, KSEI, and other relevant authorities.
6. Manage litigation, dispute resolution, and legal risk assessments.
7. Support due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate activities.
8. Develop internal policies to ensure regulatory adherence and risk mitigation.
9. Monitor legal and regulatory changes, advising the company on necessary adjustments and their potential impact.
10. Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring all legal matters are properly addressed.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LL.B/LL.M).
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in the securities, investment, or financial services industry.
3. Strong knowledge of Indonesia’s capital market regulations, corporate law, and financial compliance.
4. Experience working with regulatory bodies such as OJK, IDX, KSEI is preferred.
5. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with management and regulatory authorities.
6. Holding an advocate license (PERADI) and WPPE certification is a plus.
