LEGAL MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced Legal Manager to oversee and manage legal and regulatory risks across the organization. This role involves providing expert legal guidance, ensuring legal compliance, and managing the company’s legal affairs including contracts, litigation, and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide strategic legal advice to management and other departments.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts (vendor, partnership, employment, etc.).
3. Oversee litigation matters and coordinate with external counsel as necessary.
4. Ensure company compliance with laws and regulations at the local, national, and international levels.
5. Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.
6. Lead or participate in corporate governance activities (e.g., board meetings, corporate filings).
7. Conduct legal research and monitor legal trends relevant to the business.
8. Supervise legal team members and coordinate with cross-functional departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree in LAW is a MUST
2. 10+ years of experience in corporate legal affairs, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior legal role.
3. Certified in CLA, CCO and ISO 37001 most preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, contract, labour, and regulatory law.
5. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong leadership and people management abilities.
7. Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
9. Familiarity with legal tech tools and legal research platforms (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw).
