Position: Legal Executive (Senior/Mid-level)

Job Descriptions

• Advise internal stakeholders on front end project development and business as usual operations in the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors, including new energy, renewables, minerals, property and port terminal.
• Contract review, including preparing and negotiating contracts and other legal documents in connection with any project and communicating with internal stakeholders on the contract implementation, etc., and/or supporting in M&A transactional work.
• Support in navigating strategic procurement, including tender/bidding process to frame successful bids.
• Provide legal and commercial advice on project implementation, including equity arrangements, construction agreements, project financing, operation and maintenance agreements.
• Support compliance team in (i) periodic reviews to ensure fulfilment of legal and regulatory compliances and obligations, (ii) liaise with regulators whenever necessary, and (iii) internal policy and procedures review.

Requirements

• Hold a law degree from a reputable university, and preferably PERADI licensed lawyer.
• 2-3 years (for mid-level) or 6-8 years (for senior) experience in a private legal practice or in-house environment, and preferably have experience in property development and/or energy and resources sectors. Alternatively, you may have a strong M&A background.
• Excellent academic record, coupled with strong legal skills and a practical mindset. A strong understanding of local regulatory frameworks governing new energy, renewables, property, mining and port infrastructure would be an added value.
• A proactive approach, diligent, ability to work effectively and efficiently, both collaboratively (in a team) and autonomously.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge in Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese and/or Korean is an added value.
