Job Description

  • Drafts and reviews various legal documents, and negotiates contracts with external partners.
  • Provides clear and business-driven legal advisory on all legal aspects of company operations, products, services, and strategic partnerships.
  • Manages external notaries and legal service providers.
  • Assists with legal due diligence for various needs.
  • Completes corporate secretarial responsibilities, such as Board Meetings and Annual General Meetings, including the preparation of notices, agendas, and minutes.
  • Maintains business license issues and registrations.
  • Works closely with the compliance and internal audit team in analyzing and implementing relevant laws and regulations by providing updated agreements and company regulations.
  • Supports any related jobs assigned by the Head of Legal and/or business stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (Master’s degree is an advantage) from a reputable university.
  • 4-5 years of experience as a corporate legal at an insurance or insurance broker company and/or financial institution.
  • Solid understanding of OJK regulation and its implementation in the business, in one or more industries.
  • Meticulous with sharp analytical skills.
  • Excellent research, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to work well within the legal team and with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
