Junior Engineer

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Engineer to join our team at ARM Consulting Structural Engineers in Kembangan, Jakarta. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for contributing to the design and analysis of a variety of structural engineering projects, working closely with senior engineers and project managers.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the design and analysis of structures such as buildings, bridges, and other civil infrastructure projects
• Conducting structural calculations, modelling, and analysis using engineering software
• Preparing engineering drawings, reports, and other technical documentation
• Collaborating with project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Staying up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
• Supporting senior engineers with various tasks and contributing to the overall project objectives

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a consulting or engineering firm
• Proficiency in using structural engineering software, such as ETABS, Midas Gen, or STAAD.Pro
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations in the civil/structural engineering industry
