Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled 2D Artist, who can create brilliant daily content for our casual games portfolio, especially to produce environmental art. You will have an important and pivotal role in shaping the LiveOps Art Team and establishing effective workflows both inside and out. The quality of your work will be seen by millions of players on a daily basis and have a huge impact on the success of our games.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating, conceptualizing, and designing stunning environments and assets for game popups, store objects, announcement banners, reward medals, UI elements, and other objects.
• Ability to create artwork that follows PPC art requirements that match our products.
• Concepting and designing assets in collaboration with the Product team to ensure the art style is appropriate and consistent.
• Maintaining a high level of quality, ensuring that your work stands up against other big-name mobile games.
• Working with different international teams and outsource teams.
• Collaborating with the Art Director & Lead and executing tasks as a team.
• Communicating and collaborating with other teams such as Product Teams, Game Artists, Tech Artists, and QAs.
• Ability to mentor less experienced artists.
• Able to fix revisions, maintain quality control of the assets, and provide feedback for the LiveOps Art team.
• Being open to learning new tools and technologies.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• 2+ years of experience working as an Artist on a Mobile/Web application or as a Marketing Artist. Experience working in the game industry is an asset.
• A portfolio of previous experience, showcasing artwork and projects.
• Ability to conceptualize new ideas for themes, rewards, and other collectibles.
• Good knowledge of Photoshop and texture creation.
• Understanding of the mobile games market, its design styles, and trends.
• Excellent art fundamentals, such as a good understanding of perspective, composition, stylization, and coloristic skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and orally.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and passion for details.
• Experience in working with 3D / Unity - an asset.
• Management experience - handling mass production assets.
