Jig and Tool Engineer Assistant Manager

Our Japanese heavy machinery company client is seeking a skilled Jig and Tool Engineer Assistant Manager to join their team. Please see the details below:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer Assistant Manager.

• Knowledge of manufacturing technology for automotive parts (work experience is an advantage).

• Advanced understanding of cutting, machining, and sheet metal processes, both manual and CNC, as well as machining standards (e.g., ISO standards on general machining and tolerances).

• Familiarity with additive manufacturing technologies (3D printing).

• Understanding of material properties (steel).

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Responsibilites:

• Analyze jigs and tools utilized in the production department.
• Generate reports on analysis findings for management review.
• Assess which tools need replacement and which can continue to be used.
• Standardize machine tools and consumables, including jigs and fixtures.
