About IT System Development & Operations Manager

This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Technology Manager. The IT Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, network, and security. The IT Manager will oversee the IT team, provide technical support to the staff, and ensure the smooth operation of the company’s technology systems. This role requires strong leadership skills, as well as technical expertise in IT management.

What You Will Do

Responsibility To Staff And Direct The Team To

1. Manage the development, performance and delivery of the IT system development of the organisation, to produce smooth and efficient service and delivery solutions, maximising performance and profitability against pre-agreed targets.
2. Ensuring that the team understands the duties of the IT hardware maintenance team and its role within the organisation.
3. Responsibility to adhere to budgets and plan to maximise profitability.
4. Meet your targets and those of the team and organisation as a whole.
5. The smooth running of the team and organisation as a whole.
6. Contribute to training and development of the team and organisation as a whole.
7. Assist Line Manager in achieving maximum customer satisfaction in accordance with organisation plans.
8. Maintain responsibility for performing all duties in compliance with related legal/statutory regulations, professional duties, responsibilities and obligations.

Day To Day Responsibilities

1. Manage, direct and monitor IT system development & maintenance activities and the overall performance of the team, to increase efficiency and maximise performance and profit.
2. Maintain and improve mechanisms for IT system development & maintenance, including surveying and measuring the process, outcomes and profitability and disseminate feedback to the appropriate internal entities.
3. Utilise agreed systems to manage the IT system development & maintenance functions, analysis and documenting.
4. Direct the development of plans for IT system development & maintenance to include management to achieve targets.
5. Developing plans for IT system development & maintenance progress.
6. Support to all other departments with any IT system development & maintenance related issues.
7. Delegate authority and responsibility to team with supervision, accountability and review.
8. Manage and maintain contact with internal and external “client/customers”.
9. Responsibly use resources and control expenses to comply with budgetary controls.
10. Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures.
11. Interact and co-operate with all members of the organisation, its suppliers and customers.

What You Will Need

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information technology.
2. Experience in this type of job role minimum 5 years.
3. Good understanding of IT system development & maintenance management, requirements and dynamics.
4. Experience in IT system development & maintenance management and customer/supplier relationship management.
5. Leadership with ability to drive a team.
6. Proven ability to coach and develop others.
7. High degree of integrity and honesty in all dealings.
8. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure.
