IT System Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT System Analyst with a strong foundation in .NET or PHP programming to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who can seamlessly transition between being a programmer and an IT System Analyst, depending on project needs. The candidate will be a vital link between business users and IT programmers, ensuring seamless communication and effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between end-users and IT development teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Analyze, document, and improve business processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Provide recommendations and proactive solutions to optimize system functionalities.
• Identify and troubleshoot system issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Lead IT programmers to design, test, and implement system enhancements.
• Rarely, take on programming tasks using .NET Core or PHP.
• Design and execute test plans and user acceptance testing (UAT) procedures.
• Lead development and maintain system documentation, including process flows and user guides.
• Perform cost-benefit analyses for proposed system changes.
• Implement migration plan & implementation between legacy and new systems.
• Participate in IT governance and change management processes.
• Learn new technologies and business processes quickly.
• Challenge users on existing processes to drive effective process improvements.
• Orchestrate user training and support to ensure smooth adoption of the system.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation on system improvements and performance.
• Craft, design, and lead augmented developer architecture & governance.
• Manage vendor's performance and deliverables.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT System Analyst in any industry.
• Strong programming skills in .NET or PHP with hands-on coding experience.
• Knowledge of database management (e.g SQL Server, My SQL), ERP (e.g. SAP) or Reporting Tools (e.g Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of business process flows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to system improvement.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and work pace.
• Experience with system development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Good interpersonal skills, a humble attitude, and a strong team-player mindset.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
