IT System Administrator

Job Responsibilities:

• Install & maintain internal infrastructure requirements including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments and its infrastructure to achieve optimum level of performance.
• Integrate servers in multi-platform environments.
• Configure and maintain system monitoring and backups.
• Perform routine administrative tasks and other related services for servers.
• Analyze system requirements and plan for future upgrade requirements.
• Review events and security logs and take corrective actions.
• Monitor and resolve security situations.
• Participate in monitoring network security to resolve security issues.
• Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, logs & files.
• Develop, document and implement system standards based on best practices.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science.
• Minimum 5 years work experience.
• Certification such as LPI, RHCE, MCSE/ MCSA/MCDBA is an added advantage.
• Experience in Linux, FreeBSD, Open Source, Windows, Storage, SAN, NAS, O365 and virtual environment.
• Understanding of structured cabling, networks & firewall.
• Knowledge in shell scripting, Python or Enterprise Resource Planning is a plus.
