IT Software Engineer Specialist

About the role

Become an integral part of the IT team at PT Bussan Auto Finance as an IT Software Engineer Specialist. In this full-time role based in South Jakarta, you will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining the company's software systems to support its core business operations. As an expert in your field, you will leverage the latest technologies and best practices to build innovative solutions that drive efficiency and enable the company to stay ahead of the competition.

What you'll be doing

• Design, develop and implement software applications and systems to meet business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical needs and provide technical solutions to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to existing software systems
• Maintain versions and documentation on applications worked on internally, especially at the coding level.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest software engineering trends and technologies

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a software engineer or developer
• Proficient in programming languages and hands-on experience with software development methodologies, frameworks and tools such as Java, Python, SQL, Ms Office, JIRA, ReactJS, React Native, GoLang, Kafka, Openshift, CI/CD
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think critically
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience in the automotive or finance industry is preferred but not required
