IT Security Operation Center (SOC) - L1 (IT Consulting)

We are assisting one of our clients, an IT Consulting company, and they are currently looking for an IT Security Operation Center (SOC) - L1.

Job Descriptions:

1. Daily Operation.
2. Alert Incident Handling.
3. Service request & complaint handling.
4. Continuous Improvement.
5. Audit Security & Compliance.
6. Support Regional Event, Configuration Management (Standard Change Deployment).
7. Analyse and monitor IT security devices (Cortex XSIAM Palo Alto) including EDR, XDR, SOAR, ASM, UBA, TIP, and SIEM.
8. Provide solutions and recommendations to the customer according to their needs.
9. Preventive and corrective maintenance.
10. Monitoring and collaboration on security devices.
11. Responsive services.
12. Ensure continued smooth operation of the network infrastructure, minimizing network downtime for users.
13. Proactively monitor and analyse network performance to detect and resolve issues.
14. Report day-to-day (Reporting and Documentation).

Requirements:

1. Minimum 1-year experience in Cyber Security or at least 1-year working as an L1 SOC, or fresh graduates are welcome.
2. Responsible for working in a 24x7 (Shifting) environment.
3. Minimum security certification.
4. Knowledge of Security, endpoint, and Network.
5. Understanding of cyber-attack concepts and techniques, threat vectors, risk, and incident management.
6. Familiarity with various operating systems like Windows, Linux, Unix, etc.
7. Good attitude.
8. Ability to evaluate false positive alerts/issues/vulnerabilities.
9. Good knowledge for developing and improving processes for monitoring and incident management.
