IT Security Manager (Automotive Company)

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Manager to join our client, a leading company in the automotive industry. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's cybersecurity strategies to safeguard IT systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain the organization's cybersecurity plan.
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures standards and best practices.
• Work with different departments in the organization to reduce risk.
• Ensure that IT security audits are conducted periodically or as needed.
• Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management.
• Stay up-to-date on new information technology trends and security standards.
• Detail out the security incident response program.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Availability to respond to security alerts outside of business hours.
• Certification in information security is preferable.
• Risk analysis/assessment experience is a plus.
