Job description

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

  1. At least 3+ years of experience in IT Security or relevant fields.
  2. Hands-on experience with firewalls, antivirus software, data security, and physical security equipment management.

Technical Skills:

  1. Strong knowledge of network security protocols, cybersecurity frameworks, and risk management strategies.
  2. Experience with security technologies such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, VPN, encryption, and DLP (Data Loss Prevention).
  3. Expertise in managing antivirus and malware protection systems.
  4. Familiar with physical security systems integration (e.g., access control, CCTV).

Languages:

  1. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  2. Proficiency in Korean is highly advantageous.

Soft Skills:

  1. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  2. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  3. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to addressing security risks.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Security Systems Management:
    1. Manage and monitor IT security systems, including firewall operations, intrusion detection, and antivirus solutions, to protect the company’s data and networks from cyber threats.
    2. Lead the implementation of security measures and controls to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
    3. Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities by conducting regular risk assessments and penetration testing.
  2. Physical Security Management:
    1. Oversee physical security operations, including managing security guard protocols and maintaining physical security infrastructure (CCTV, access controls, etc.).
    2. Ensure proper integration between IT and physical security systems to provide holistic protection for company assets.
  3. Develop and maintain incident response plans to address security breaches or attacks.
  4. Collaborate with relevant teams to investigate and resolve security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  5. Compliance & Governance:
    1. Ensure adherence to internal and external security policies, standards, and regulations.
    2. Handle the process for applying and gaining approval for security exceptions, ensuring appropriate controls are in place.
  6. Security Awareness Training:
    1. Conduct regular training for employees to raise awareness of security risks and best practices for safeguarding company information.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
  8. Recommend and implement enhancements to improve the organization’s security posture.
