IT Supports are responsible for overseeing the daily performance of computer systems and answering user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.
Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
In charge of projects related to new hardware and IT infrastructure installations.
Requirements
Minimal Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related fields with a minimum GPA of 3.00 (on a scale of 4.00).
Familiarity with PC hardware, printers, scanners, peripheral equipment, and mobile devices.
Fundamental understanding of IT concepts regarding hardware and software, networking, data storage, data backups, and monitoring.
Understanding of client PC connectivity - Ethernet, TCP/IP, switch, router.
Knowledgeable in basic LAN and WLAN.
Excellent listening skills, with the ability to understand exactly what users require.
Sociable, communicative, responsible, proactive, friendly, and possessing good manners.
