Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science
• Minimum 8+ years experience in Network Administration/Network Engineering
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 – Foundation
• Familiar with mining industries or field work (will be an advantage)
• Good communication skills and excellent analytical skills
• Willing to be placed in Jakarta Head Office, with frequent traveling to mine site

Responsibilities:

• Drive improvements in network infrastructure operations, architecture design, and delivery processes; provide overall infrastructure & network architecture thought leadership to develop technical design specifications.
• Participate in initial planning and installation of new networks/network components; maintenance and upgrades to the physical network infrastructure.
• Assist network engineers in the design and implementation of new infrastructure, and participate in the implementation of changes to the environment.
• Participate in the planning of the growth, maintenance, security, compliance, and troubleshooting of the systems.
• Plan and develop new hardware and services to allow the ICT department to serve the growing needs of Kideco enterprise.
• Support all network-related activities, including investigation of network issues.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, review the delivery of current services, and assess ways to improve efficiency.
• Monitor network traffic to identify failures or to spot potential performance or bottleneck issues.
• Liaise with the organization’s Information Security Management to help establish network security.
• Assist in establishing convergent platforms for voice and data communications, with a strong focus on overall TCO and Return on Investment (ROI).
