Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree (MBA/Master's) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Accounting.
2. Proficiency in planning, executing, and reporting on IT audits with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends or issues.
3. Understanding of operational auditing techniques and practices, including process evaluations and efficiency assessments.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings and making recommendations.
5. Ability to address and resolve audit-related issues effectively.
6. Precision in examining IT controls and systems to ensure accuracy and thoroughness in audit processes.
7. Understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies, with familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
8. Familiarity with IT audit tools and software, such as automated audit management systems and data analysis tools.
9. Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio); audit experience in SAP is preferred.

Skills/Competency:

1. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and emerging IT risks.
2. Technical Aptitude: Understanding of IT systems and data analytics, with the ability to influence IT strategy and practices through audit recommendations.
3. Financial Acumen: Basic understanding of financial principles and practices, including Financial Information System best practices.
4. SOX / JSOX Audit: Several years of experience in SOX/JSOX internal IT auditing.
5. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the specific manufacturing industry’s environment and regulatory requirements is beneficial.
6. Ability to work with various departments to address audit findings and implement improvements.
