IT Infrastructure / Operations Engineer

Deploy and manage backup solutions for clients' IT infrastructures.

Design and implement secure, efficient, and scalable backup architectures.

Configure and manage enterprise backup systems such as Veeam, Rubrik, Commvault, and other similar solutions.

Ensure that backup processes are automated, running on schedule, and can restore data efficiently when required.

Develop and test disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and business continuity.

Monitor the health and performance of backup systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.

Collaborate with internal technical teams and clients to improve backup solution features, capacity, and security.

Provide expert technical support and advice to clients regarding backup management and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications:

1. At least 3 years of experience in backup or operations within IT infrastructure.
2. Proven experience in deploying and managing enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam, Rubrik, Commvault, or similar systems.
3. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
4. Experience in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automating IT operations processes.
5. Strong knowledge of networking, server storage, and related infrastructure (e.g., SAN, NAS, and other storage technologies).
6. Experience in disaster recovery planning, implementation, and testing for large-scale data environments.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.

Certifications (Preferred):

Relevant certifications in backup solutions, disaster recovery, or cloud platforms, such as Veeam Certified Engineer, AWS, Azure, or similar.
