Work as a technical engineer, collaborating with team members to support IT project delivery, including project delivery solutions, delivery plans, site surveys, hardware installation, commissioning, acceptance, etc. Ensure customer requirements are met, focusing on functionality, performance, security, and high availability.
Support the pre-sales of Data Center IT Infrastructure System integration and service.
Communicate with customers and subcontractors to enhance customer satisfaction, manage subcontractors to complete tasks, and provide related training.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in DC/IT infrastructure technical support and administrative positions.
Experience in Storage/Network/Server/Linux OS or cloud/virtualization solution projects in a technical role.
Familiarity with TCP/IP and SAN networks, including L2 switches, L3 routers, Trunk, Stack, OSPF; FC switches, FC/IP SAN, NAS, etc.
Deep understanding of cloud computing/virtualization services and business models, including hosting, co-location, cloud storage, and cloud hosting; involvement in three or more cloud computing project bids & implementation.
Familiarity with backup and data protection software (such as NBU, CV Simpana) and data replication of host/storage/application (such as SAN Mirror).
Familiarity with data migration solutions, such as P2P, P2V, V2V, and application-level migration.
Additional Advantages:
Familiarity with industry virtualization solutions, such as VMware products and VMware vMotion migration knowledge.
Familiarity with major database products.
Familiarity with IT basic applications, including SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), SharePoint, Exchange, OA, Web, FTP, SMTP, etc.
Familiarity with security products, such as firewalls, VPNs, anti-virus, IDS/IPS, PKI, etc., and international security standards; responsible for the design and implementation of network and information security solutions.
