IT Database Administrator SQL Server

Job Responsibilities

• Help design, implement, and maintain databases
• Complete SQL and other shell scripting
• Identify and troubleshoot performance issues
• Configure Data Guard and Clustering
• Ensure information security
• Back up information for data recovery
• Train non-technical employees on how to access the database
• Provide database support to employees as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a DBA or Backend Developer
• Expert in SQL-based databases, especially SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Understanding NoSQL-based databases is a plus point
• Expert in creating Queries, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and ETL Creation using SSIS
• Knowledge of database backup procedures and recovery systems
• Complete SQL and other shell scripting
• Have the ability to create ERD designs that comply with best practices
• Ability to visualize algorithmic structures
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience in all aspects of Oracle implementation
• Experienced with Replication, Clustering, Tuning
• Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
• Analytical skills
• Technical communication skills
