IT Business Analyst

Responsibilities

1. Analyze business requirements and develop solutions that meet those requirements.
2. Work with business users to gather requirements and understand their needs.
3. Work with IT professionals to design and implement solutions.
4. Document requirements and solutions.
5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommend enhancements or modifications as needed.
6. Collect and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive informed business decisions.
7. Engage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business owners, managers, and end-users.
8. Assist in project planning, resource allocation, and monitoring project progress.
9. Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends.

Job Requirements

1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation.
4. Knowledge of business process modeling and analysis techniques.
5. Data analysis and interpretation abilities.
6. Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
7. Understanding of project management principles and practices.
8. Proficiency in using business analysis tools and software.
9. Domain knowledge of the industry or business area.
10. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field (preferred).
11. Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) (optional), Project Management Professional (PMP).
12. 3 years experience is preferred.
