IP CORE ENGINEER

Responsibilities

• Planning, designing, and implementing functional network infrastructure
• Resolving issues
• Monitoring, control, and maintenance of network SLA
• Designing and deploying functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
• Configuring and installing software, servers, routers, and other network devices
• Monitoring network performance and integrity
• Automating tasks and monitoring their effectiveness
• Maintaining complete technical documentation
• Suggesting improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability
• Willingness to work extended or shift timings and be available for 24/7 on-call support for any reported issues.
• Responding quickly to issues affecting the network environment to maintain high availability and uptime.

Requirements and Skills

• Experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator
• Professional certification (e.g., CCNP, JNCIA)
• Solid background in network administration and architecture
• In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., VLAN, VXLAN, VPN, VRRP, BGP, HA configuration)
• Understanding of operating systems (Linux and Windows servers)
• Experience with network interconnection with cloud providers
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring (PRTG, MRTG, CACTI, and Grafana) and analysis tools
• Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS)
• Creating and preserving design documentation for network operations.
