This role requires the intern to be working from office.

Disney Consumer Products (DCP) is the business segment that brings stories and characters to life through innovative and engaging physical products and digital experiences across more than 100 product categories.

The Direct-to-Retail Management Intern would provide administrative support and be part of creating retail excitement together with the Consumer Products team.

This role will gain exposure in the planning and execution of retail and product development strategies and activities, collaborating with the top tier retailers in the country.

The role will be responsible to make alive the summer holiday campaign as one of the big festive periods in the year for the company. The intern will be supporting the planning and implementation of the product development that suits the campaign and deliver best in class retail execution through the partners’ stores.

Responsibilities:

Business Drive

  1. Work closely to the expected growth of each business partner
  2. Manage and develop new ideation to create the business spike
  3. Ideate/lead brainstorming for each campaign
  4. End to end Project management involving both internal and external stakeholders

Retail Experience

  1. Update and maintain campaign calendars
  2. Maintain the product development to align with the calendars
  3. Build the plan decks in accordance to partners target audience in combination with TWDC standard
  4. Analyse result of the campaign and share with markets as a best practice

Overall

  1. Actively participate and support brainstorming sessions, business reviews and campaign reviews
  2. Think creatively to create new concepts and breakthroughs that fit the partners’ needs
  3. Liaise with different lines of business and learn synergy for marketing campaigns

Internship Requirements:

  1. Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree
  2. Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
  3. Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between May to August 2025
  4. Indicate your internship availability (start and end date) in your resume

Additional Requirements:

  1. Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree/diploma in Fashion Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, or a related field
  2. Knowledge or interest in Digital Marketing and/or Visual Merchandising is a plus
  3. Interest or fan mentality for Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel
  4. Highly self-motivated and meticulous with a strong passion for retail and marketing
  5. Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organization, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
  6. Strong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross-functional teams
  7. Adopts a challenging and questioning approach, proposing information and solutions in creative ways
  8. Passionate team player with a never-ending curiosity
  9. Self-starter that needs minimal supervision in motivating himself/herself, always looking for opportunities to contribute to our campaigns and overall projects.
  10. Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
  11. Strategic thinker with good communication skills
  12. Creative mindset with the ability to leverage data to develop strategy/decisions
  13. Proficient in MS Office
  14. Excellent command of written and spoken English
