Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Intern to join our team and assist in Yard Engineering Operations: Production Engineer, Completion Department, Construction Supports Engineering, Fabrication Supports Engineering. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for an active student to gain hands-on experience in dimension control in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Under supervision and with guidance, you will be involved in learning and assisting with:

• Production Engineering
  • Oil and Gas/Renewable Energy Production facility construction project execution, for all construction disciplines: Structural, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecom
  • Student from: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Shipbuilding Engineering, Electrical Engineering
• Completion Department
  • Completion and Pre-commissioning activities for Oil and Gas/Renewable Energy Production Facility
  • Student from: Mechanical Engineering, Shipbuilding Engineering, Electrical Engineering
• Construction Engineering
  • Structural analysis to develop construction methods: transport, lifting, load out
  • Student from: Civil Engineering, Ocean Engineering
• Fabrication Supports Engineering
  • Detailed shop drawings production: Structural, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecom
  • Student from: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Shipbuilding Engineering, Electrical Engineering

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications & Education:

• Active college student in S1 (Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Shipbuilding Engineering, Electrical Engineering)
• Internship placement is available in McDermott Batam Fabrication Yard and the minimum duration should be (2 Months)
• Applicants should not be participating in another internship program
• Applicants should have strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Attention to detail and a willingness to follow instructions
