Interior Furniture Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interior Furniture Supervisor to join our dynamic team at PT Kesuma Bangun Persada in Denpasar, Bali. As our Interior Furniture Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design, production and installation of high-quality furniture for our diverse range of interior design projects. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on exciting, large-scale developments in a collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate the interior furniture design, manufacturing and installation process from start to finish
• Collaborate closely with the interior design team to translate design concepts into functional, aesthetically-pleasing furniture pieces
• Oversee the work of the furniture production team, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards and within agreed timelines
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to source materials, monitor quality and ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate the logistics of furniture installation on site, working closely with the project management team
• Provide hands-on supervision and training to the furniture production team to continually improve processes and skills
• Maintain detailed records, documentation and reporting on all furniture-related activities

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Interior Furniture Supervisor or similar role in the furniture design/manufacturing industry
• Proven track record of successfully managing the full furniture production lifecycle, from design to installation
• Strong technical knowledge of furniture construction, materials and production techniques
• Excellent project management, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to interpret and translate interior design briefs into functional furniture solutions
• Hands-on leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and mentor a team
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Tertiary qualification in Interior Design, Furniture Design or a related field is highly desirable
