Interior Design Manager

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to thoroughly understand project requirements and vision.
• Provide innovative and strategic input on design concepts, space planning, and detailed technical drawings, advising clients on materials, colours, textures, and other aesthetic and functional elements.
• Develop and present high-quality drawings, 3D models, and renders, ensuring design precision and client alignment.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, and designers, including cross-border teams, to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Partner with company leadership to drive process improvements and elevate the design team’s capabilities and standards.
• Oversee the design team’s workflow, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely project deliverables meet quality standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in managerial and leadership roles, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Specialized in retail and commercial design with an impressive portfolio to showcase.
• At least 8-10 years of experience in technical design and team management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, SketchUp Pro, or other industry-standard rendering software.
• Knowledge of Design Thinking principles; UI/UX experience is a bonus.
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
