The role of the Indonesia Supply Chain Director is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end supply chain operations within a specific country. The goal is to drive strategic initiatives to optimize the supply chain, minimize costs, and maximize customer satisfaction.

This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the local market dynamics. The Country Supply Chain Director will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and achieving sustainable competitive advantage by aligning supply chain strategies with overall business objectives and fostering strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other key stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute the country's supply chain strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives.
2. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency.
3. Conduct regular reviews of the supply chain performance and adjust strategies as needed.
4. Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, focusing on inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution, with indirect responsibility for procurement and manufacturing.
5. Manage relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other key stakeholders.
6. Implement robust inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and minimize holding costs.
7. Monitor and control supply chain costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
8. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers, meeting or exceeding service level agreements.
9. Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve any supply chain-related issues.
10. Implement effective demand planning processes to anticipate customer needs and optimize resource allocation.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Advanced degree (MBA or master's in supply chain) preferred.
3. 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a multinational company.
4. Proven track record in leading and managing supply chain teams.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Proficiency in supply chain management software and systems.
8. Deep understanding of the local market and regulatory environment.

Estimated Salary: €80,000 - €120,000 per year
