Job Purpose
If you are in the Unilever Ice Cream business or are considering working for the Unilever Ice Cream business, you will work for the global, leading Ice Cream player with €8bn Turn Over in 2023. The Ice Cream business is operating in a highly attractive category, as we are part of the 1 trillion snacking and refreshment industry, growing consistently at high pace. We have strong brand equities: 5 of the top 10 selling brands including Wall’s, Cornetto, Magnum, Ben & Jerry’s. We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of Ice Cream as a standalone entity, once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to happen by November 2025. Ice Cream has distinct characteristics from Unilever’s other operating businesses and the growth potential of Ice Cream will be better delivered under a different ownership structure.
Following the period of establishment of around 18-24 months, you will have options for career exploration and growth, allowing you to explore roles and through opportunities across the new organisation.
The Establishment Marketing team will drive the set-up, standalone design and implementation of all required structure and capabilities related to Marketing to enable Unilever’s Ice Cream business to become a fully functioning standalone company, separate from Unilever. The roles in the Establishment team will sit with the Ice Cream business and will work closely with the Unilever Separation team.
This role will report to the Global Marketing Establishment Lead and support on Program Management activities specifically for Asia markets, with one of the key activities being Rebranding Program, which includes but not limited to artwork changes, master data management, stock transition plan, and overall transition risk assessment. Within those activities, ownership of the overall program plan, risk logs, progress tracking, decision tracking and unlocking hurdles will be the primary focus of the role. The aim is to bring clarity, rigor and execution excellence into delivery.
Being part of Establishment Team, this role will work closely with local markets’ cross-functional teams that include R&D, CD, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Operations, HR and representatives from other relevant functions.
The successful candidate must be experienced in Project Management with a passion for change management, simplification, communication, and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the Ice Cream industry. This role will exist in its current form for ~15-18 months (ending after external separation in November 2025). We expect the separation process to have been concluded in this period with post-separation ways of working established.
